ABOUT

While studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, she spent three years at the New York-based event agency Rise & Set, working on set design for events for European luxury brands including Hublot, Porsche, and Ferrari.

An internship at the Children's Museum of Manhattan sparked a deeper interest in the role of design in educational and public spaces.

After graduation, she joined t-squared design inc. in New York, where she was engaged in signage planning and environmental design for public institutions, including universities and libraries.

Back in Japan, she joined artless Inc., contributing to projects for Azumi Setoda, Four Seasons Okinawa, and Phenix Jet. Her work evolved into a cross-disciplinary approach spanning visual identity, digital, signage, and print.

Today, Aoi is part of the founding team at Marie International School, where she leads branding and creative direction, working closely with school founders and educators to explore the potential of design in education.
Fashion Institute of Technology(ニューヨーク州立ファッション工科大学)グラフィックデザイン学科に在学中、イベントエージェンシー、Rise & Setにて、Hublot、Porsche、Ferrari などヨーロッパのラグジュアリーブランドのイベントにおけるセットデザインを3年間手がける。

在学中、Children's Museum of Manhattanでのデザインアシスタント経験をきっかけに、教育現場や公共空間におけるデザインの役割へ関心を深める。

卒業後はニューヨークの t-squared design inc. で、大学や図書館などのパブリックスペースにおけるサイン計画および環境デザインに従事。

帰国後、artless Inc. にて、Azumi Setoda、Four Seasons Okinawa、Phenix Jet などのプロジェクトに携わり、ビジュアルブランディング、ロゴ、ウェブ、サイン、印刷物に至るまで、領域横断的に経験を積む。

現在はMarie International Schoolの立ち上げメンバーとして、ブランディングおよびクリエイティブディレクションを担う。学校経営者や教育者と連携しながら、デザインが教育にもたらす可能性を探求し、教育分野におけるビジュアルコミュニケーションの設計に取り組んでいる。
